What we do
Our portfolio ranges from individual measuring and testing systems to complete inspection vehicle solutions and inspection services. Our heritage lies in equipping measurement trains, yellow-fleet maintenance machines, commercial locomotives and high-speed trains with highly precise, robust and railway-specific sensors and camera systems for track and rail inspection.
Our technologies include optical and IMU-based high-precision track geometry and position measurement, turnout measurement under load and dynamic forces, video and radar technologies, and non-destructive ultrasonic rail inspection with Plasser RailEcho.
Diagnostics at scale
A particular strength of Plasser Diagnostics is its connection with the globally deployed Plasser & Theurer machine fleet. Intelligently equipped yellow-fleet machines can act as additional data sources, enabling more frequent condition updates and continuous monitoring of infrastructure deterioration over time.
Real-time evaluation and AI-supported detection make relevant information available directly during a run, supporting faster assessment and earlier identification of maintenance needs.
